Election Day Sites

Since most of the USA is focusing on Tuesday, November 4th, I figured this would be a great time to post some Election Day activities you can use with your students.

If you have any others that you use or have found, please feel free to post them on your blogs or as a comment to this one.

Thanks and happy voting!

As a high school history teacher, there is not one part of American History that is more difficult to explain then the election process. Many students become quite confused with the idea of a primary, popular votes vs. electoral votes, and the electoral college. After students create a base for their knowledge in this area, these lesson plans are excellent references for middle/high school teachers. After a little bit of tweaking on some parts, teachers of any ages can thoroughly explain the election process to their students. Thanks for the link.
