I came across this site in one of my educational technology sites:
The site claims: "SecretBuilders is a site that can be used to supplement the teaching of various topics, including literature, arts, sciences and humanities. The site gives children an opportunity to interact with famous historical and fictional figures from world civilization, making learning more enjoyable and effective. We can provide teachers with examples of how to incorporate SecretBuilders into their school curriculum."
Take a look and see what you think.

This seems interesting. I actually logged in and tried playing for a while. Amazingly, I'm sure a 4th or 5th grader could probably do a better job at interacting with the different aviars.
The premise of the game seemed decent, kind of a real life scenario where you have to work and gain "stuff" that you can barter and trade with.
My kids love SecretBuilders.com! The 10 yr old loves the creative art and writing features. His friends are on it too, so that makes it fun for them to interact.
As a parent, I like the fact that it has an educational twist to it, unlike other children sites. I recommend other parents to have a look at SecretBuilders!
