"Kids Know It" Website

Here is a site that one of my graduate students (John Lucas) examined for a class project. During the night he presented, the website would not load (OF COURSE) so he posted the site on his blog and I thought I would share it, too.

John explained: "It would be most useful for teachers that are working with younger students. I think that students could really benefit from the site. I think it's great that it's free and yet it isn't overwhelmed by a lot of advertising. The link can be found at the bottom of this post. I hope it works for you and"

Thanks, John!

Thanks for your comment on my NJCCCS. But, what I have understood from the reading is that students should have a certain knowledge of technology at each grade level. When they move from one level to the other, they already know what they have learned during the 4th grade for example in order to build on it in the next grade. In other words, they cannot learn what is in the 8th grade curriculum as far as tenological leteracy is concerned if they are not familiar with 4th grade curriculum.
This is what I meant!
